Sheeba Philip – EXTENDED BIO

Sheeba Philip serves as the Vice President of Global Marketing and Public Relations for International Justice Mission (IJM). IJM is a global non-profit organization that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression across Africa, Latin America, and South Asia.   IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local governments to rescue victims, prosecute perpetrators and strengthen the community and civic factors that promote functioning public justice systems. As Vice President of Global Marketing and Public Relations, Sheeba leads a team focused on attracting and engaging constituents and partners through elevating IJM brand awareness worldwide, delivering integrated marketing strategies and programs, and overseeing IJM's global public and media relations initiatives.  She recently led the launch of the bestselling book The Locust Effect, written by IJM’s founder and CEO, Gary Haugen.

Prior to joining IJM in 2013, she spent ten years in brand management at both Mondelēz International and Kraft Foods. During her tenure, she led multi-million dollar, iconic brands such as Ritz and Jell-O in business planning, strategy, marketing and innovation. In 2011, she assumed the role of Global Marketing Director for the World’s #1 Cookie, Oreo, a $2 billion brand present in over 100 countries.  Sheeba oversaw the execution of the global campaign to celebrate Oreo's 100th birthday, which garnered over three billion PR impressions worldwide.

Sheeba holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A from the Harvard Business School.  She attends the Redeemer Arlington Church in Northern Virginia and is passionate about prayer ministry.
